This is lame... are we all waiting for someone else to start another conversation or post something? I see that some of you have logged on recently, but no one has done anything! Now I've broken the quiet, so everyone speak! *listens for any sign of life but only hears crickets in background*

I love catching crickets, and then you go fishing with them, they are like miracle bait where i live on the west coast of Canada, lol. I just have been very bizzy with school, and school seems to drain me of all imagination, thats including my science class where the teacher gives you marks not on the percent of how you do but your "comprehension" which is stupid considering i'm in bloody grade 9. I HAVE LEARNT EVERYTHING HE HAS TAUGHT ME THIS YEAR SO FAR AND I'M GETTING A HIGH C WHAT IN GAMAL IS GOING ON!?!?
I think my teacher is on the mary jee wanna lmfao.

Actually I hate it. I hate the city. And I hate the gray clouds. Thats all we ever get here, gray, rain, more rain, more gray, and more rain. I prefer the good 'ol Montana wilderness over this place. But when you go out further, to like the Olympics, then it gets real pretty. The tip of Washington is nice-sometimes. But I still prefer Montana. I've never been to Canada in all my years of living here. I might go camping in Banf (or however you spell it) next summer, though.

Yes, you could be referring to quite a few things when you say that what they say is true. I'm sure many people think we're insane, stuck-up, and so on. I feel so guilty sometimes... they always say the U.S. is the most powerful and the most rich, but it sounds so snotty. There's been times that I've been proud of our country, but for the past five years all I've felt is shame.
I like WA weather. All that rain pays off with some very vibrant greenery, and the clouds are cozy once you get used to them. All I've ever experienced otherwise is AL weather, and that is murderous... I don't see how they survive...

Well Eolith, if you were born in sunny California, moved to Florida, and then was forced to be slapped by the cold hand of the NW, how would you feel? lol.
I am proud to be an American, but I am ashamed of my Government. There is a difference. I love my country, not its leaders, nor its history.

I have a friend that moved here from CA... but that is entirely random. I don't know. I suppose since I've been born and raised here I prefer the temperature of WA. This summer I went on a road trip into CA, it was beautiful but very hot... same with AL. I know I could get used to it if I had to, but I love the clean, fresh feel of our air in WA. It isn't muggy and humid. I usually spend a month or two in AL every summer, and when I get back I'm always gulping down the WA air. When you put it that way, I am proud of the beauty of our country... but I don't feel as safe as I once did. With all of this Katrina crap, I really don't know if I trust our government to care if Seattle were suddenly bombed by terrorists. I mean, Bush couldn't have been entirely oblivious during that long time when all of the people needed help. He should have over ridden any conflicts and ordered those bumbling idiots to get some assistance out there!... Sorry if you support Bush... I don't really agree with him and I never have.
