Hey peeps! I was just sifting through the internet and I found a writing contest that I thought some of us might enjoy entering... it would be pretty cool if one of us won. We could also critique each other's stories before submitting them. I don't know if you're interested or not, but I thought I'd tell you about it and post the link: www.writersdigest.com/contests/shortshort/

Lady Eolith, how hard didst thou hit thy head? Thou shouldst be wary of thine own health, for what if thou didst receive a concussion? I know how thou dost feel, when I was younger I, too, had taken quite a tumble from my bike. My entire left side was full of gravel and scratches, but luckily I had not hit my head. But take care of thyself, my friend. I hope that thou feeles' much better very soon. Also, thanks for posting the link above. Very interesting contest. Money's always good. ;D

I know I know... I'll shutup. Anyway, back on topic, I was thinking of touching up my 'Brother Dragon' story and submitting it, what do you think? Is it too hopeless to ever be rescued from its lameness?

I haven't been on this forum very long, but is this "Brother Dragon" on here? I looked, but I think I missed it.

'Brother Dragon' is in the fantasy section of the Story Board... it's been there for a while, but Shades is the only one that's given a reveiw. I don't think I did anything serious to my head, I was wearing a helmet and my mom's a doctor, so I'm in pretty good hands. A pain killer fixed my headache.

LOL thats good doctor parents, except that would suck if they were super protective and made yuo take like loads of medication, and Joe lighten up m8, eolith wasn't whining in an annoying way although he she had a tiny scratch on her toe i would have reacted the same, but from what i understand it was a pretty bad fall.

P.S. Write about the story before the Dragon and then it would be A+

Lighten up? I wasn't being hard at all. In fact, I was laughing while writing that. I'm just being playful Shades. Don't take everything so seriously man. Loosen them shoulders.lol.

I don't have to take tons of medication.... I just have to get every shot that was invented... including the flu shot every year. bleh! And no need to worry, I took the whining part all in jest. Even so, today was absolute torture. My school is four stories and we're going up and down stairs constantly! My knee hurt like heck with every agonizing step.... and then my bandage leaked through my pants and I had to go get another one during class. If anything, I need to shorten my Dragon story... it's 500 words over the limit. I can already tell it's going to need a huge remodle if it's going to work.

Well... maybe not EVERY shot, but all of the ones that guard against viruses I have any potential of catching.
