Lol that reminds me. I was just recently invited to a 'Curling Party'. It was wonderful, there were little hair brushes and hearts all over the front. ;D I was incredulous really, I was thinking, 'A curling party?! Have they lost their minds!' my second thought would have to be, 'I already have too many dang curls.'
Then I opened the card and remembered that their mom plays Curling, an ancient scottish sport that involves lobbing 40 lb stones over ice and 'sweeping like Cinderella' as they put it. I have no clue how to play, but hey, it sounds fun and I figure they won't really expect me to do much else than fall on my rear the entire time. This ought to be interesting...

Sure, I may look it up on the internet just to get an idea of what it's like... only thing is, it'll probably come up with a ton of hair curlers.

It shows little animations of all the different moves and such. I found it pretty handy... especially because I didn't want to read huge paragraphs on the subject.

Algebra... word problems. I hate word problems. It's all stuff I should know... but I'm totally blanking. I'll copy one down, but you'll probably think I'm an idiot and be able to solve it in a matter of seconds because I am an idiot when it comes to math...
Tennis rackets can be packaged in cartons holding 2 rackets each or in cartons holding 3 rackets each. Yesterday's packing slip showed that 38 cartons were used to pack a total of 100 rackets. How many cartons of each size were used yesterday?

They wrote two equations and multiplied one of the variables from one equation by all of the other variables in the second equation... if that makes any sense. I forgot exactly what it was called.
