Hello Forum Members, Although I am getting older, I still find I have that great desire to always climb a tree. As I get older, and do it less, the desire grows, and at this moment I am burning with the urge to go climb a tree. Who else enjoys the company of leaves? At this point in time I must leave, and go climb a tree, in hopes that my urge will be gone. lol.

Lol, I don't really climb trees anymore, but I like sitting under them. I have one really special place where I like to just relax. I actually had to write an essay about that too and use all of the five senses in it.

Oh, yes i remember that, using the five senses in your stories. I love sitting under trees and writing when it is sunny out, I'm not a huge fan of the heat, makes you hot, and sticky, that equals the loos of comfort. Ya trees are a very special thing to me, it is also very nice to write in a tree, it is much quieter up in a tree, and no one can come and bug you as you write because you are 50 feet above the ground.

Yes, I don't really like lots of heat either my favorite temperature is a breezy 70. I love it when it's like that out.

70 ? Do you know what that would be in Celsius? I'm guess 18 C ? Yes thats a very nice temperature and it is even nicer when it is overcast, and windy, it is not so hot that it is un comfortable, and not so bright you can't see, niether is it too cold or too dark.

Yes, that is always nice. I'm really used to it too, in fact, today is one of those days where I am. I love riding during both those types of days. It's so peaceful to stop and enjoy the nature with your horse. (Even though the horse is normally more interested in if you're too distracted to keep him from snatching a few bites of grass. lol)

Right now it is perfect outside, and the beautiful British Columbian Coast is something to look to for insperation, it would be very easy to write a story at the moment, something about Nature, perhaps a fantasy. -Shades, Admin.

That makes me remember my mermaid story... the coast part anyway. I haven't really written anything other than fantasy, but some of them are kind of scary... not really, I'm not very good at it.

Practice makes perfect, and nobodies perfect, so practicing will further you ability, everone has to start somewhere. Myself horror is an easy subject because I just write what scares me. -Shades, Admin

I've never really thought of that. Only thing is... I probably wouldn't have the guts to do it. And if I did, I would hide it away from everyone else, because I would be afraid...
Well, that has nothing to do with anything. I don't read many horror stories, but I probably should since you're reading mine.

Check out the two I have posted, they really aren't horror, but they fit best in that genre.

Start a topic about it, otherwise it is called spamming. Sry to come down so hard on you. Freezing temp. to 18 celcius is perfect.
