I am at present reading Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, written by Susannah Clarke. its a tale of Wizardy in Napoleonic Britain. Its a huge book, over 1000 pages, with work constraints its taking me bloody ages to read but it is a ver very good read, i heartilly recommend it to you all.

Hmm, that's ... well, too be honest not unusual. =]
Might I ask a general estimate of the reading level? Something someone of my meager [or as others put it, youthful] age could possibly comprehend? xD Sorry, I'm into "Wizadry Tales" and I might try it. The longer the book the better but if the words are too long then I'll end up completely lost! >_<

Ahahahaha well i dont know what your comprehension level is. When I was 9 i could read books at university lvl reading, nothing special just all a matter of your comprehension, from my understand, there are quite a few big words

Psh, your showing too much of that conceit, sir. Pack it all away, now!!
I've been told I was articulate as I child and take advanced English classes. I understand about [freshman] University level NOW [most definately not when I was nine! Good Lord...] but I don't read those kind of books often. I have a low actual comprehension level of implied and between the lines reading, but I can get the literal view if I understand the vocabulary. ^_^

xD Lmao!! I had one friend. =] And I don't think she liked me....
But once I hit fourth grade I met my two bestest buddies of my whole life and ditched the books. xD They're still my best friends <3 Uwah, I wuv them. But that's off topic. >_<
Tis conceit when you say it like that. xD Thank you for hiding it though. <3

Haha, I've just got a big ego. xD
And I apologize for my tendency to digress....
-back on topic-
I like big, fat, wizadry books over 1000 pages. =D I'm so tempted to read it now... >_< I can read 500 pages a day if I do nothing else haha... Not the best record in the world but that means it'll take me two days to finish. =3 Which isn't too bad.
Person...erm, 'Reginald', what type of 'wizardy' would this be, though? There's a Wizard series by Diane Duane that I just love which makes the magic sound more like sci-fi than fantasy, and then of course, you've got Harry Potter. =]

I've read a part of it and its more like a classical writing style, not as laid back as diane duane or JK ROwling. Its more meat and potatos like the mozart with magic.
