Well, I think all those authors are good and all, but Anne Rice is by far my favorite. It just saddens me that there is no Anne Rice topic...Well, thats fine, because I just started one.

Why thank you! Lol. Yes, Anne Rice has been my favorite author for many years now. I've just started the Vampire Chronicles over again, for about the fifth time. Her writing is just purely amazing

I don't think I've read her... But then again, I never really stop to look at the authors of the books I read, so who knows, I might have read her.

I read anything that interests me, really. I read incredibly dark, depressing stories as well as light fluffy ones... well... not really, but stories with a little more happiness anyway.
Have you seen the story I've been writing lately? It's about vampires, though I doubt I'm any good. I've only read one story about them before.

I read so many books it would make your head spin (lets just say i have 800+ books on my shelves, and half the books i have ever read have come from the library lmfao) Anne Rice is brilliant, so i suggest going and getting the first of the Vampire Chronicle series. -Shades, Admin.

I really only have one shelf of books, but they are my absolute favorites and my favorites only. I often 'weed' it out some after I've found better books. All of the other books I don't like as much are either donated or forgotten. I go to the library alot too.

That's all that are immediately available, I could run a deeper search...

Eolith, the very first book in the Vampire Chronicles is "Interview With A Vampire". I, too, am an Anne Rice fan. I have read all of her older books, though I have yet to read anything beyond Vittorio. I should do that soon, methinks. I just finished reading "The Scarlet Pimpernel". It was absolutely wonderful. It's an older book, but well worth the read. If thou art looking for more of the Vampire Chronicles...the second book in that series is "The Vampire Lestat". I hope that this helps.

That's odd, it took a TON of searching to finally find it in the catalog, as none of the normal key words seemed to be working. But in my search I found reveiws by others. Almost all of them rated it 5 stars, and those who didn't said that the main character whined too much and that the book dragged. I'm choosing to ignore those few, as all of the others were raving over it! I also found out that it was a movie, which is cool, but it's 'R' so I can't see it *pouts*. I watched the preveiw though.
