Ok, this is my first attempt at a war poem, so spare me... ---------------------------
Silencing Silent are we Approaching the battle line Turmoil, as far as the eye can see. Blood is spilled Onto the hot, sandy grounds Our spines are chilled We await the day That this will all end Bloodshed in a horrible way Silencing is the night Holding our breath Shaking with fright We say, Fear not Fight on, finish our job Finish that, which we've sought
Eh, I know it's not the best, but like I said, this is, after all, my first war poem.
†R.I.P Mark† You may be gone, but your most certainly not forgotten.

This piece is powerful....sad...and should remind us all what some suffer so that others might live free. I love thy style in the writing of it, and believe me when I say that it truly brought tears to mine eyes.
I look forward to seeing thine other works. Perhaps something about love. *Smiles softly*
