Hey y'all, I don't write many songs, mainly because they sound very cheesy and in the end very malformed because I forget to record the way they sound. I made one that I call "Superman" and I think this might be sort of good. The general sense of it is rock. This can be interpreted in one of two ways.
1.) A Superman song. About Superman/Clark Kent/Kal-El.
or
2.) A song about growing up and finding out about the world and making choices.
Superman

I am a different man / than the one I was before I need to understand / the dangers outside my door Please forgive me / if the truth brings you to tears But all I have left is the strength / to battle the worst of fears And if I choose the wrong path / the world will be buried again
I'm trying I'm trying Please leave me Because You can't see me For what I truly am
I'm trying To be a better man This ceiling Is keeping me from the skies I need to Take flight
I need to be A superman I long to be What I truly am Please don't touch me You're like my kryptonite And I have to leave And I have to leave Tonight
I'm trying I'm trying Please leave me Because You can't see me For what I truly am
I'm trying To be I'm trying To be I'm trying To be I'm trying To be a superman Superman Superman Superman Superman

Excellent piece, Trajet! I liked it very much.
Like Sir Joe, I could easily pick up the tune of it in my head. Wonderful work.
