…Dirt Beneath Our Feet…
The bright blue planet known as earth has been wanted by other species ever since man made its claim throughout the universes. For many millennia there was no strife beyond that plagued the surface. The year is 2246 and for 20 years now the planet has been at way with the Tramen Empire – an empire of a planet many light-years away. For many people on Earth, the war is just another thing for the Galactic Empire to take care of, but one individual, one young girl of 18, the threat is too close to home to be ignored. For little do the people of Earth know that the G.E is losing the war, have been for the past few months, for a unique girl this is beginning to show. For Ciara is no normal child, but one with an extraordinary gift, which only the females of her lineage have ever possessed; and now it is up to Ciara to save the world from utter destruction – as she comes into her power… she begins to realize her task…
CHAPTER ONE: Realization: Ciara knew there was a war being waged but nothing beyond that; she knew it was being fought over the survival of Earth but nothing more – of course she knew that somehow she was meant to save Earth, and stop this unbeatable army from destroying the universe, and that was something she didn’t understand. She heard footsteps coming up the hillside behind her but she didn’t turn her gaze, she knew who it was, and sure enough his voice filled the silence of the night. “Ciara?” turning Ciara faced Aaron as he appeared behind her, concern written upon his face. Ciara smiled and patted his arm reassuringly, Aaron had a way of figuring out when she was confused and always turned up. “I’m fine,” Ciara spoke, letting him pull her into an embrace and plant a kiss upon her forehead. Aaron rested his chin on top of her head where it tucked snugly just in the joint of his head and neck; as he did so Ciara let loose a sigh of gratitude at his simple, understanding, and solid presence. “I know better then to argue with you,” Aaron spoke softly and Ciara gave a chuckle of amusement and pressed herself again his chest. “Ever wonder if you’ll be one of the lucky ones? One of the ones who don’t get conscripted into the G.E?” Ciara asked him, pulling back and turning her clear eyed gaze full on his face. His answer was a simple shrug, uncertain and not sure of how to answer. “I’ll do what I can for my home,” Aaron replied letting her go – he thought on this topic often with many mixed emotions. Ciara placed a hand on his arm in a silent action of acknowledgement of the battle within him. Taking a deep breath she closed her eyes and drank in the pounding power of the world around her, settling its easy and serene magnitude in a sphere around his body, easing its manner around him, calming him in the only way she could without words. His deep breathe of response told her all she needed to know and she opened her eyes and broke the connection. Moving back into her body she felt the pain of the re-connection from the plain of power to her own reality.
What happened next neither of them had expected, with a bang a bright light appeared over their heads, streaming fast across the sky to collide with the mountain side above their heads, Ciara sat bolt upright in surprise, Aaron’s arm still clasped around her waist as he moved just as fast rolling over her and reaching for his rifle as he went. Ciara felt the singeing burst of power that had come with the crash. “Stay down, I’ll go check it out,” Aaron said gently, creeping away from her, his hand slipping from her grasp. Ciara frowned and clambered to her feet. “Like hell you are,” she called, hurrying after him, her step firm and her gaze set. Aaron glanced back to argue, saw her face and thought better of it. Moving toward the crash site which still burned brightly against the unforgiving rock it had crashed into. Ciara stretched uneasily forward with her mind straining her powers to find out if there was any trouble but Aaron was already climbing around the wreckage his rifle trained on the cockpit. Pulling back to herself she trekked up the hill behind him, just in time to see him put down his rifle, his face go solemn, turning he caught sight of her coming up. “Stay there Ciara, you don’t need to see this,” he called down, and Ciara stopped with a stubborn look. “Why?” She replied “He’s one of ours, you can see the G.E insignia on the side, and the pilots in pretty bad shape, real bad shape.” He called down, turning away himself trudging down to her, taking her arm and pulling her roughly away. Ciara gave a frown but went willingly, sending her back to camp Aaron made a call in, then returned too and crept in beside her, pulled her close against his body and pretended to sleep. Ciara didn’t need to reach out and search his mind to know he didn’t want to talk and so she left it.
Next day the sun came up bright, brighter then usual, the glint of the steel of the fighter jet reflected the rays down onto the body of a girl – Ciara sat meditating on a rock, her eyes closed and her breathing slow and steady, Aaron was back up at the crash sight, pulling away the radio, trying to mind the last transmission when something picked the edge of Ciara’s sub-conscious mind, something wasn’t right and it involved that plane. “Aaron, come away… now!” Ciara called up to him, scrambling hastily to her feet, her power reaching out fast to cocoon the plane, to keep whatever was wrong inside. Aaron pulled back when he felt the surge of energy ripple through the air in front of his hands, pushing him back, looking startled he turned quick to face Ciara, her eyes ablaze with new found power. “Aaron just trust me on this, step away…” Ciara said hastily, reaching him and pulling him away, up close the wreckage of the fighter jet had a pulse, a living quality that shouldn’t be there, Aaron stepped away and didn’t ask any more questions. Ciara sat there, the sound of helicopters now filling her ears, telling them both that the salvage team had arrived after flying all night. Noises were muffled as Ciara stood over the crash holding whatever the menace was within its cast iron prison. Many hours later Ciara was able to release her hold, a team of trained professionals had encased the wreckage in a unusual contraption and Ciara knew at last that the being could no longer be of any harm, pulling away she turned to face Aaron with a tired look within her eyes before she passed out into his waiting hands, being as undeveloped and untrained as she was, she couldn’t spend too long using her powers without problems, and 6 hours had been too long.
Later that week Ciara finally came too, in an unfamiliar room, shutting her eyes again she tried to use her power, felt darkness creep back again and stopped, her vision returning as she opened her eyes again, she’d done too much that day on the mountain, but it had been the only way. Shuffling beside her told her that someone was there, without looking she reached out and clasped Aaron’s hand, feeling him tremble and his squeeze of relief made her smile wider. “Don’t do that again, you hear…” Aaron said with a tone of mock anger as he kissed her gently but firmly on her numb lips. Nodding her head she had not the energy nor the will to argue, something was different now and definitely wrong, for now she wouldn’t mention it, but she knew it was time to contact the man she knew to be her father but who she’d never known, meet nor heard from since she was born; and that spoke volumes on how long the war had been going on – 20 years approximately, 2 years longer then Ciara had been alive. Ciara turned away, shutting her eyes against the light of the overhead lamp, a sharp word from Aaron and the lights were dimmed, peeking through her eyes again she grabs Aaron’s hand as he seeks to slip out while she appears asleep. “Its time to contact to G.E Aaron; ask for Colonel Trace, mention my name, and get us immediate transport up to the space station,” Ciara said, as firm as she could make her weak vocals sound. With mild hesitation Aaron nods and Ciara felt like she might very well have sent Aaron into a place he had never intended to send himself. By living together on the outskirts of a small, insignificant colony on Earth they’d managed to keep out of the war, kept Aaron from being enlisted into the task force, but now she was sending her lover into the clutches of the very people they’d been trying to avoid, but Earth, the home of countless millions was at stake and Ciara was beginning to understand that only she could manage to save them… somehow…

Oh wow... I really love this... <3 <3 <3
Umm-- not much I can really find to say. The paragraph lines are hard to point out but that's because of the site format, not your writing. Hm. Somewhat cliched in places.... sometimes you lapse into a brief section of bland-yness, but otherwise yes. =] If you decide to continue posting then I'll gladly read but it seems your last edit was... ah, decemeber.
Ah well... T_T

If you refuse to do indents than do another space [double space in more technical terms] between paragraphs versus just a single one so the seperation shows up.
Indents don't appear on proboards anyway. =]
And plleeeeaaasseee update. -strangles-

Me? In what manner, might I ask, good sir? For it is quite an impossible task for one of my status, and I should be helpless if assigned it. Unless I am to litter the thread with an extra and redundant post save for the formatting corrections as designated. O-o; And if you have not noticed, I've taken upon myself a new manner of speaking, or rather, typing-- as my verbal conversations and discourse would sound not even the slightest bit like this. xD

((shades would you be so kind as too delete unrealted posts please? thank you..)) AND NOW THE MOMENT YOU"VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!! *drumroll* CHAPTER TWO
CHAPTER TWO: New Hope:[/b] Aaron stood against the door frame ignoring the looks of disgust at his blaster rifle he kept at his side at all times, doctors and nurses slid past him as the last preparations for Ciara’s departure from the hospital, to god knew where. Ciara glanced up from one of the nurses who was hurriedly giving her some check-up instructions and flashed Aaron a warm, tender smile. Shouldering her bag she tugged the list from the nurses hands and assured the older woman that she would follow them diligently. Nodding at last she stepped around the clustered group of hospital staff, all watching her leave with mild disapproval and worry. Her name had spread fast when Aaron had first tired to ask after Colonel Trace, which led to rumors of Ciara being his daughter, the one destined to save the Earth. From there both Aaron and Ciara had looked at ways to get her away from the crowds before the population found out. “Come on,” Ciara murmured to Aaron, nudging him out the door with her foot, before walking down the hall, everyone stopped and gawked at her but she kept her head up, and her gaze fixed on the doors, which were open, beckoning her on. Resisting the urge to flee through the doors she walked calmly through, headed to the vehicle parked outside and climbed in, as Aaron took the drivers seat they sped away. Much driving took them from the city, back out to the back country, aiming for their camp.
“Any word from headquarters?” Ciara asked after a long silence, Aaron shook his head, glancing across at her. “I would have told you,” “Not necessarily, you’ve been keeping a lot from me lately” she added to his utter surprise, she’d caught him off guard and in that instant his mind was clear, stealing her chance she probed his mind, causing him to swear and swerve violently as he fought to release her mental hold. “Never do that when I’m driving! And for your information what you’re looking for is this…” he started angrily, pulling over, killing the engine, grabbing her face between his hands as he faced her, “they didn’t believe me, none of them did, they all thought I was lying, I never got through to Colonel Trace.” Aaron explained at last, causing her to frown. Of course she’d expected some resistance to her acclaim to be Trace’s daughter, but didn’t think she’d get met with outright refusal. Pulling away they sat in silence, each brooding, each content to ponder on their own for the time being. Finally Ciara placed a hand on the door and threw it open, stepping out she walked some paces away, turned her face to the sky and screamed. “Shit!” she cried, clamping her hands around her head and dropping into a crouched position. She heard Aaron get out of the car behind her but paid him no heed. Some moments later she drew herself up and took a deep, shuddering breath, facing her lover and confidant she gave a sad smile, reaching out she stroked his cheek, before he swept her up into his arms for a passionate kiss, hands diving into her short-cropped blonde hair. Pulling back with a gasp she buried her face in his shoulder, giving a dry sob as he held her tight. God knew the struggle she’d face now just to get into a situation she didn’t really want to be in. In silence he took her hand, led her back to the car and drove off, heading back out to their isolation.
*** *** *** Ciara threw the radio away from her with a cry of frustration – another call and another denial, no one believed her they’d waited too long for the one they needed to come so they couldn’t believe it had finally happened. Aaron glanced up from where he was cleaning his gun with a disgruntled look, making a move to stand a rock above his head blew apart as Ciara screamed out. Ducking fast Aaron rolled away from the flying fragment. “Ciara control yourself!” he called out as he stood up again, Ciara turned her head towards him with a sob. “Why… why won’t they believe me?” Ciara asked hugging herself and turned her gaze skyward, confusion flashed through her head, how could she solve this? It seemed ages before Ciara calmed down, and when she spoke again her voice was firm. “Aaron you need to get me to Wren Station” Ciara turned to him as she said it, her hands held up to hold back any arguments, and with only a nod Aaron agreed.
*** *** *** The car pulled in silently down the drive, the armored gate grinding shut behind them and the guards finally coming to without a notion of what had just passed. Grinding to a halt in a cluster of trees just off to the side of the main buildings; before long two silhouettes were seen making a dash for the building. With minimal communication Ciara reached out and unlocked the door with her mind, with a satisfying clink it swung inwards to admit them. “Go upwards, through the second floor window, you’ll find it open. Stay there until you hear from me next… no arguments Aaron just do it!” Ciara added in a harsh whisper as Aaron started to complain, closing his mouth he knew better then to disagree with her when she was like this, the line of her mouth was set, her eyes dark and filled with a dark unknown, every line of her body was hard and set on her task. Nodding he slipped away into the night to fulfill her request; as he moved off she went in through the open door, pulling the laser gun from its holster at her waist – as her power was still so unstable this was her best line of defense… or attack. Ciara ran into nearly no trouble, a few guards she was able to subdue without much more then a blanket of nothingness using what little power strength she could manage. Weaker now then she knew she kept moving on, going further into the depths of one of the most protected facilities in the world. Before long voices drew her to a room, reaching out again with her mind she knew almost instantly that here was what she needed. Taking a deep breathe she plunged on. With a whine she clicked her gun off the safety, and pulling invisibility around her with the last of her power she moved into the room.
“It’s impossible, their fleet is too big!” was the argument in full throw, flowing back and forth, back and forth. “This new weapon is going to be our downfall!” shouted another, near Ciara as she moved subtly through the crowd. “Gentlemen! Ladies! Please calm yourselves, this is not over yet! We’ve held strong for so many years now this cannot be our undoing!” the man yelled at the front of the room, and with a heart stopping wrench she knew who he was… her father, Colonel Trace. For a fraction of a second her invisibility failed and a cry of surprise was registered near her shoulder, heads turned and she moved, fast, pulling the gun up she leapt to the nearest officer with the highest rank, grabbing his arm with the blaster aimed at his temple she let her cloak slip. “Now everybody just shut up and listen!” Ciara cried over the shouts of outrage. Moving forward through the crowd she moved toward Trace holding his gaze, alarm flickered across his face as he struggled to recognize her. With no more thought then instinct, she swung the blaster away from her hostage and to the head of Colonel Trace. “Now hold steady ma’am, there’s no need for this” one man said, moving forward, but pulled up short when she swung the blaster his way. “Colonel Trace,” Ciara began, a firm line to her lips, “you have no other business now then to listen and listen well. I am Ciara Trace, you’re daughter… you know who my mother is… and you know why I’m here” she finished with a gentle tone, her power reaching out and lulling those around her to a relaxed state, the intense concentration needed to hold it was killing her, but worth it when she saw Trace was willing to listen. “Calm yourself Ciara, lower that gun… lets talk like rational people, I’ll listen now… you have my word.” Trace answered, rising to his feet with a grace that matched her own. “Oh good” Ciara replied shortly, lowering the blaster which gave another whine as it powered down, her power slipped and her vision narrowed, Trace was moving toward her as the blanket fell around her and she slipped to the floor.
now.. i don't know how to do the indent thing... so maybe some help??

You CANNOT indent on a proboards site. It doesn't copy.
INSTEAD we suggests doing a double space between ALL paragraphs, as is the manner I tend to always write in out of habit. =3
I would edit for you, but I find myself incapable.
As for your story:
Romance <3 is a plus for me, haha. I loved it!! Annoying to read sometimes because of format [and you're awkward situations at time which you cheat yourself out of, such as screaming shit to the sky doesn't exactly portray what you had most likely intended] but I do like it in general and you're an amazing writer. ^_^
