I'm only 16 and it's been my dream to get published for some time now. Although I don't feel that my writing ability is all that great, I still think it would be fun to get published.
P.S. First post, go me. ;D

My first story was about wolves... but I was in 4th grade, so it was really sappy, stupid and improbable. I think that if we have our minds set on it hard enough and if we're willing to go through the work we can publish! You always see those signs everywhere that say 'You can do anything if you put your mind to it!'

Yeah... Amelia Atwater-Rhodes is in inspiration to me, she got her first book published when she was about 14. She's my hero! x)
Like Eminem's song "Lose Yourself"! It says "you can do anything you set your mind to, man". Yep. Alright, that's my random comment of the moment...

Lol. Well you're a fellow north westerner. It's an old southern term from around the Civil War... I don't think it's used much these days... if I weren't half Alabamian I wouldn't have known myself... I wouldn't have heard the song either.

Yes, and a grocery cart a buggy and lunch supper... it still confuses me when grandmother asks me to get a buggy... People have said that my sister and I have a bit of a southern accent, even though we live in the north west.
Know what's sad? When I'm reading something long, I kind of slip into a British accent. One of my favorite teachers was British, and I admired the way her accent sounded... I thought it was pretty.
